Job: Founder and wealth advisor at Legend Financial in McCandless
Family: Husband Alex, sons Alex (a senior at RMU double-majoring in accounting and finance) and David
Hobby: Diane loves playing ice hockey and she coached for her sons' youth teams.
Proudest achievement: "Looking around this office every day and the number of employees we have, and the ability to mentor so many of them over the years and help to direct where their professional careers will take them."
Favorite RMU memory: Establishing the local sorority chapter for Theta Phi Alpha at Robert Morris; Diane was its first chapter president here. It's where she says she first discovered her entrepreneurial talents.
Last RMU event attended: At RMU Night at PNC Park in June, her husband caught a foul ball off Neil Walker.
Why she stays connected: "I've always stayed close to RMU because of my sorority sisters. Those are lifelong, beautiful friendships." RMU's Theta Phi Alpha chapter will celebrate its 30th anniversary at Homecoming this year.
How she gives back: Diane was the featured speaker at a recent Women of RMU event Downtown, and she directs her financial contributions to the Women's Leadership and Mentorship Program.
