Job: Greg is a senior programmer at Community Care Behavioral Health Organization, and Alana is an admissions counselor for the Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University.
Home: Castle Shannon
Favorite RMU memory: It's their Colonial Couple story. “We met while working in the media services library and began dating in our junior year. Our boss, Betty Evanski, desperately wanted to make a love connection between two of her work-study students. She never tried to pair us up, but was thrilled for us when she attended our wedding in 2010."
Proudest achievement: Both Alana and Greg say it's being a parent to their 2-year-old daughter, Layla Brynn.
Last RMU event attended: “We both attended Homecoming last year in the sleet!” And they'll be back this year for their 10th Class Reunion. Greg still has fond memories of playing for the Colonials, including their first season at Joe Walton Stadium when he was a senior.
How they stay connected: Besides coming to campus events, they both support RMU Athletics and helped to establish the Bryan Garvin Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Why they stay connected: “Robert Morris has truly shaped our lives into what they are today. Because of our time at RMU we have a beautiful family and accomplished careers. We wouldn’t change one detail. Go Colonials!”
