Alums meet new prez

We have had an exciting couple of months here at RMU. President-elect Christopher Howard was on campus for the basketball home opener, and he chatted and visited with alumni, including a couple of former Colonials basketball players who were watching the game from the 1921 Club.
We also held our annual wine tasting at the Harvard Yale Princeton Club. We're grateful to all those who came out and supported this year's tasting. If you are a wine drinker and you missed it, I would advise you to make it a point to attend next year's event.
There was the awesome bus trip to Philadelphia to cheer while the RMU men's basketball team took on the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an alumni fan zone reception at the Field House restaurant in downtown Philly. Our fall legacy event at the football game against Duquesne was a huge success, with alumni and guests watching the game from the end zone, sipping on hot chocolate and eating hot dogs. Another highlight of this time period was the annual Alumni Council open meeting, where Jonalyn Paulick '94 spoke about the “wow factor” when interviewing for a job.
As you can see, things are happening both here on campus and regionally for alumni. We thank those of you who have attended an event, and we look forward to meeting those of you waiting for the one that fits you.
