Great Night for a Ballgame!
Monday, June 27, 2016
It was a great night for a ballgame! Our annual RMU Night at PNC Park started with our pre-game rooftop party held at Left Field Meeting Space. Alumni with their families and friends from all around packed the building in record numbers. This year’s party was sold out with over 200 guests as they caught up with old friends and met some new ones over good food by Pittsburgh’s BBQ Company.
After the party we headed into PNC Park for the game, where over 500 Colonials and friends cheered on the Buccos vs. the Giants. The sea of red and gray RMU Pirates hats could be seen from across the park! RMU truly represented as we watched men's basketball Head Coach Andy Toole throw out the first pitch. Megan Johnson ‘15 and Josh Klamer ’14 took part in the Pirates fan experience and changed out the bases during the 3rd and 6th inning. Even though the Pirates didn’t take home a win they played a good game and it was a great night for RMU!
