Colonial Couple Mike Greenlund ’11 and Amanda Musser Greenlund ’11 M’13 are getting excited for Homecoming because they cannot wait to reminisce with old friends and cheer on the Colonials versus the Red Flash.
The two first met while participating in the American Humanics program, which prepares students for jobs in the nonprofit sector. Junior year is when the connection sparked. “We were volunteering together at a Special Olympics bowling sectional, and we were serving lunch to the athletes when we found our hands together in the same pickle jar,” says Mike. “The rest is history!” The two will celebrate their first wedding anniversary the week of Homecoming.
Amanda earned her B.S.B.A. in business management and her M.S. in organizational leadership. Mike had a dual major in marketing and sport management. They live in Beaver, and Amanda is an account manager for TrueSense Marketing, while Mike is the business development manager for CRU, a consulting company for the mining, metals and fertilizers industries.
